I wish I could be as confident I'm 15 and have depression just seeing your page makes me happy because your always yourself and seeing that right now when i'm in my awkward phase is calming. did you ever go through an awkward phase? if so i'm curious to see what did you look like?

Thank you! I’m happy to be seen as confident. And I’m even happier to know that it makes you happy :) Of course I’ve had self-esteem issues and days of self-doubt. Of course I’ve had awkward phases. Of course I’ve gone through periods of depression. We are all human. We all struggle. No one on this Earth is perfect or has it completely together all of the time. You’re so young and although I’m unfamiliar with your struggles, I can assure you, life always gets better. I’ve learned that taking care of myself and being accepting of who I am, (even with all of my quirks) I look and feel the most beautiful and confident. I’ve learned not to question my path( even when things don’t go the way that I planned) and to accept life as it comes; living solely in whatever moment I am in and making it the best that I can. I strive to discover the lessons in each day and use them as building blocks for my character and ammo for my decision making. I Put my very best effort into everything that I do and humble and grateful to God every day for the gifts that he has blessed me with. When ever I feel sad, I think about all of the love I give and receive and I work even harder to perfect my skills. You will find inner peace and beauty in everything around you once you surrender to the moment and understand that every second of your life happens for a reason. I hope that you are able to apply these words to your life and I hope you find happiness within yourself. <3333

Thank you! Honestly, learning what works for your hair is definitely an on going process filled with trial and error. I’m still learning and trying out new products. Right now I do a hot oil deep conditioning treatment every week, wash it with Wen and use Pantene Relaxed and Natural conditioner. I run a mixture of 1 part leave-in conditioner, 1 part Relaxed and Natural moisturizer through each individual curl after I shower and let it air dry.
